From 8AM to 5 PM we will be manning the Salvation Army bell ringing outside of a Jewel within the community
around Lewis.

PIZZA: A COLLEGE KID'S LIFE SUPPORT Think you got what it takes to finish a whole pizza, and beat
out 29 other college kids while doing it? Put your money where your mouth is,
fool! Our First Annual Phi Kap Pizza Eating Contest will be held during the Halftime
of the December 4th Men’s Basketball game here at good ole' Lewis. Should
be another gross; yet extremely cool sight to see. Half the money raised will be going to The Children's Miracle Network.

CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY/CHICAGO WOLVES GAME: After doing some good in our community by volunteering
at the CFD during the afternoon, we will be sending a loud and proud group to root for our beloved Chicago Wolves that same
night.
October 27 - 31, 2008
MAY THE BEST CARVER WIN. Whoever can carve the best pumpkin will be the winner of our First Annual
Pumpkin Carving Contest. Proceeds will go to Children’s Miracle Network and Big Pink Volleyball (benefiting breast cancer).
We will be holding the pumpkin carving station inside the LU Cafeteria all week long during lunch. $10/pumpkin.

October 22nd - 26th, 2007. During this period they competed against other Fraternities and Sororities, in a number of
different events. Monday-Karaoke Night, Tuesday-Game Night/Dizzy Bats, Wednesday-Obstacle Course,
Thursday-Tugs/Egg Toss , Friday-BBQ.

Children Fighting Against Cancer
Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity, Illinois Kappa Phi Chapter put on a benefit for Kimberly Pawl and
the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It was held at Gaelic Park, on August 25th, 2006. They raised just over $8,000 to
be split between Kim and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Thank you for everyone who supported this great event. Also, a big thanks to all of our
sponsors, Gaelic Park, Alex and Doug, and Matchstick Morning.

Phi Kappa Theta
Fraternity, Illinois Kappa Phi Chapter at Lewis University participated in Greek Week - October 31st through November 4th, 2005.
During this period they competed against other Fraternities and Sororities, in a number of different events. Monday
was Game Night, Tuesday was Karaoke, Wednesday was Obstacle Course, Dizzy Bats and Egg Toss, and Thursday was Tugs!
Good job pledge class of Spring 2005 and Active members!!

Phi Kappa Theta and Gamma Sigma Tau had a bon fire event which went very well, with around 25- 35
people showing up. This event was taken place at the bon fire pit located between Fitz. and Sheil Hall at Lewis University.
~ Take Back the Night ~

Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity, Illinois Kappa Phi Chapter, participated in "Take Back the Night", which
is an awareness and remembrance program for abused women around the world. The event was held by Alpha Kappa Alpha,
Zeta Phi Beta, and Phi Kappa Theta, which was located in the chapel at Lewis University. Our own brother, JustinPietras,
taught a small Self-Defense/Rape Prevention class during this event .

Hurricane Katrina Fundraiser
Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity, Illinois Kappa Phi Chapter, is doing a fundraiser for the victoms of
Hurricane Katrina. The fundraiser will last for 2 weeks (Sept. 5th - Sept. 18th). All money will be donated to
the American Red Cross.

Spring 2005 Formal
Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity, Illinois Kappa Phi Chapter, had our Spring 2005 Formal on Saturday, April 30th,
2005, at the Prime Hotel in Naperville, IL. We had a pretty good turn out of alumni and active members. Roughly
around 40 people. Thank you for everyone attending. Hope you had a great time. And hope to see you next
year!

Phi Chapter, participated in a Tsunami Relief Ceremony on Thursday, January 27th, 2005; which was held in the Lewis
University Recreation Center.
